Evening Event Option; Generations Hall

 

Generations Hall

Description: Originally built in the early 1820’s as a sugar refinery, Generations Hall is a multi-use facility located in New Orleans’ eclectic warehouse district.  This renovated building has a rustic look with open beams, brick walls, and 35-foot ceilings celebrating the classic charm and musical influences of New Orleans combined with a modern feel. Divided into four separate areas, the facility celebrates the influence of music upon New Orleans.  Each space provides a different atmosphere, “a club within a club,” where guests can explore and wander from the Big Room, and the Metropolitan I and II, or through the 20,000 square foot lush courtyard.

Evening Event Option; House of Blues

 

House of Blues

Description: Established in 1994, the House of Blues is located in the historic French Quarter, just a few short steps away from most major hotels in the downtown area and the New Orleans Convention Center. The Parish Room and the Voodoo Garden are especially appealing sections in which to host a reception.  The Music Hall offers a large space for presentations or large receptions. With an eclectic mix of music, art, and southern cuisine, from Memphis barbecue to Cajun and Creole favorites, the House of Blues is one of the best places in the city to soak up New Orleans’ alluring list of characteristic traits.

National World War II Museum

Description: Dedicated in 2000 as The National D-Day Museum and now as the country's official World War II Museum, this remarkable attraction illuminates the American experience during the WWII era with moving personal stories, historic artifacts and interactive displays. From the Normandy invasion to the sands of Pacific Islands and the Home Front, the Museum brings to life the optimism, courage and sacrifice of the men and women who won the war and changed the world. The National WWII Museum provides a wide variety of venues designed to accommodate meetings, luncheons, wedding receptions, holiday parties and seated dinners of various sizes.

Republic New Orleans

Description: ocated in a renovated 150-year-old warehouse, Republic’s exposed wooden beams, stunning crystal chandeliers, and hand-painted vintage murals exude New Orleans charm in a modern, elegant setting. Just two blocks from the Convention Center and steps away from downtown hotels, our ability to accommodate groups of 100-1000 guests makes Republic NOLA the perfect place to host your next social event.
 
The Montgomery family built the space in 1852 not too far from their Plantation home. The space was used to store produce close to the Mississippi River before shipping it out.

Today, the venue features the original exposed wooden beams, elegant brick walls, striking gold-beaded curtains and gorgeous crystal chandeliers creating a stylish and tasteful atmosphere perfect for your New Orleans reception.

First Time Attendee Reception

 

Description: This is an opportunity to connect directly with the first time attendees at the Annual Conference. The reception will start with remarks from the sponsor and a member of ADHA Leadership. ADHA Mentors will then With a short program that walks through how to navigate the conference during a short presentation. 

Event will be held on Thursday, June 11 from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM at the headquarter hotel, the Hilton Riverside.
